Intention is a sober, participant-driven New Years festival that provides warm accommodation, electronic and acoustic music with an open dance floor, delicious food for every diet, knowledge and skills through facilitated workshops, an outdoor sauna, activities for children, an amazing social atmosphere, and everything else that the participants wish to create.
History
Originally adopted from Intention BC (which originated in 1998), Intention Alberta is a participant-driven winter festival. The event is founded on the values of love, co-creation, community and boundless expression through dance and art. Everyone is encouraged to find their own way to connect into the organizing flow and become involved in the production.
