Co-Creation
Co-creation is a unique and simple way for us to contribute and participate in the magic that is community. Co-creation is an understanding that each of us has something powerful to contribute and an acknowledgement that everything in life is sweeter when we do it together. It takes all of us to make Symmetree what it is – which is why we’re calling on each of you to contribute to co-creation throughout the festival.
Still not sure what we’re talking about? Don’t worry, we’ve got co-creator wizards on-site to meet you upon arrival at Welcome. Co-creation can include dish fairies, town criers, LNT’ers, Vibe pod, passion show performers (or host!), kitchen help, fire keepers, set-up and take down.
Leave No Trace
Our community respects the environment. We are committed to leaving no physical trace of our activities wherever we gather. We clean up after ourselves and endeavor, whenever possible, to leave such places in a better state than when we found them.
Help Leave No Trace this Symmetree by: leaving extra packaging at home, BYO cup, cleaning up after yourself (dishes, spills, wet shower floor, etc…), putting cigarette butts in a personal canister or firepit, hanging Lost & Found items on the MOOPdeliers in the dining and dance halls & taking your recycling home with you (there is no recycling at the camp). Join the Grand MOOP Parade on Sunday and help tidy the grounds!
